Seizure Background

I had epilepsy for 31 very long years. December 15, 1994 I underwent 15-1/2 hours of left mesial temporal lobectomy...while fully awake, and have been completely seizure-free ever since. I am now an epilepsy advocate/counselor to over 1,600 people worldwide and a paid speaker on behalf of the Epilepsy Foundations of Syracuse and Rochester, New York. I have hosted two of the few epilepsy chat rooms online now since 1996 every Wednesday and Saturday night from 7:00-10:00 PM est. Anyone interested should email me at JoanofArc1994@yahoo.com

Treatments

I take 200mg of Tegretol XR in the AM and 200mg in the PM. I will be on Tegretol XR for the rest of my life.
