    Josie,

I just realised that I neglected to ask how YOU are when I sent that post. I'm sorry, that was terribly inconsiderate. I hope you are doing well. If you need to talk, need a friend, or just want to laugh always feel free to PM me. You and the kids bundle up in that weather! Stay warm.

    Hey there deary

I would love for you to visit Georgia! I don't live close to Peachtree City, but I would make it a point to find a ride to meet you (the ride would probably be my husband and baby boy) Maybe we could meet at a restaurant or something!

Our weather is cold today, but we have had flash-flood and tornado watches this week! Ugghhh. It was cold, then hot, then rainy, then cold again...the perfect set-up for some bad weather!

I am actually having a very hard time right now. I'm debating on whether or not to post a thread about it in the padded room. My seizures are crazy, and my doctor is adding a fourth anticonvulsant starting tonight. I know that you've probably read my profile and have seen how heavily medicated I already am. Anyway, say a little prayer that I can function tomorrow.

Thank you for writing me! I really needed to hear from a friend.

    Hello Josie!
How have you been? I am sorry its been awhile to send a message. As of me especially this month it has been very crazy at work meanign very busy that I am having trouble with everything outside work. I am tryign to make sure I get my Christmas shopping done and help out around the house. Then of course when you go to work you have to think of work not home. I seem to loose my train of thought and forget things. So i feel I go back and forth everyday. They have me working more near holidays which is fine. I am almost done with Christmas shopping. I will finish on the weekend. Then start on my deserts soon afterwards. My brother is coming home on the 22nd. Cant wait for that. But I can with everything going on after the Holidays I sure do have alot planned for next year. School, license, get a car, epilepsy walk, March of dimes walk, Going to North Carolina with my grandma & more. I cant think of everything but I know there is more than that. So much to remember. LOL.. Well, you take care of yourself. I will talk to you soon. Take care.

About Me

  • About josieb
    Seizure Background
My partial complex seizures began in my early teens and were under control for a period. Then, in 2005, the seizures started again it was determined that I had a tumor on my left temporal lobe. After going through the testing, I had surgery in late February 2006. In May 2006, I began having a different form (simple partial) seizures. After trying several medication combinations, I have been seizure free since September 11, 2007. I still deal with the side effects and fears, but hopefully, as time goes on, it will get better. Ever since the surgery, I deal with panic attacks and not being comfortable out in public, but I keep trying - one day at a time.
