    Seizure Background
I was 24 when I had my first gran mal. what a surprise!! I'm now 46 and have been on meds that for the most part control my gran mal. I have breakthroughs quite often. It can be very frustrating at times so I thought joining a group that can relate to me may help. People can understand to an extent but all of you probably can really understand how frustrating it can be being an epileptic. I take Tegretol and lamictal twice a day, When i know I have a will be having a busy day I then take clonazepam the night before. My biggest frustration is my speech and loss for words all the time. Meds can really make you feel dumb. Anyway I'm off to read the forums, thanks to whoever is out there reading my post:):)
