- Seizure Background
- My now 6 year old daughter has been having seizures since she was 2 years old. We have been all over Texas the past three years trying to figure out why. In August we were sent to Texas Children's hospital in Houston and within 24 hours she had a seizures (for the first time on the machines and tape) and the doctor found the cause to be her metabolism.
My daughter was given a golden retriever the weekend before Christmas in 2006 he was 6 months old. Within 4 days of having him he started alerting me to her seizures. He is our Angel! He is very accurate even though he was not trained. We are in the process of getting him trained in February! We hope and pray that we get the money raised by then! - Treatments
- My daughter currently takes Keppra 9ml twice daily and B-6, diastat as needed!
