- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed with epilepsy in 97' when I was 7 years old with complex partial grand mal seizures, I was told I would never grow out of them in 03' I took 3 trips to the epilepsy ward in minneapolis where I was told I was seizure free. In 08' I started feeling a pressure sensation that was never diagnosed in 09' I started having Grand Mal's again. After almost 6 years seizure free I had them now worse than ever I was having up to 8-10 Grand Mal's a day and my body was exhausted. In march 10' I was finally diagnosed with epilepsy again and put back on meds. after a few med trys we finally have found the right combination and as long as I take my meds, sleep, and keep myself not as stressed I'm fine with the occasional break through petie mal. I also in november 10' got my service dog who is a seizure detection service dog.
