    Seizure Background
    I am the mother of a 25 yr. old woman with intractable epilepsy. none of the medicines she has tried have worked. Abby also has metabolic and hormonal problems, which also lead to seizures. She is going to have a VNS implanted this fall and a cochlear implant for her increasing hearing loss.
