- Seizure Background
- I had my first seizure when I was in 8th grade, another that same year, and one when I was seventeen. I was diagnosed with juvenile mioclonic epilepsy, but as years went by without a seizure I stopped taking my medicine. I still kept Keppra on hand, but could usually tell when I was about to have a seizure and would just take my medicine then. I'm 23 now and recently, I apparently had a seizure while at a library, and I was apparently walking around the library for an hour, though I do not remember this; that's why I'm here. I would like to hear from others about how I might be able to help myself.
