- Seizure Background
- 38 years with epilepsy and fighting to be seizure free. Done all the AED meds and now repeating several times over. Have done Muliple Subpiel transection surgery 4 times. Exploritory surgery and was not a candidate. tried the ketogenic diet for a year as an adult, I have the VNS is turned off but I can turn it on with my magnet. Got seizure free for 7 months when I was nine. My parents took me to a chiropractor. Didnt want to go back. Omega three fatty acids did help with my seizures some and decreased about two hundred auras. Now just dealing with the entering menopause and seizures increased again. On a drug study right now with Ganaxolone for hormones and seizures. Plus I was told last year that I now have scar tissue. Oh what a joy!
