    Seizure Background
My son started having complex partial seizures 2 years ago when he was almost 8 years old and he still has seizures 5-10 times per month. We've had several failed medications and we were hopeful that a combination of Depakote and Keppra would work, but he still continues to have seizures. Almost all of his seizures now take place in the middle of the night, which we are very thankful for because they don't interfere with his school as much during the day and he doesn't have to deal with having seizures in front of others.
