- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed with Partial Onset epilepsy in March 09 after having 2 tonic-clonic seizures. I was shocked to find out that other symptoms such as absences, deja vu, flashing lights and walking around without realizing it were also symptoms of epilepsy.
I've been to and from the doctors and neurologists since then, and had an EEG which shows i have temporal lobe epilepsy in the right and the left temporal lobes. It has also been found out that i am having nocturnal seizures.
I found this site on Google whilst looking for Epilepsy forums, and I'm looking forward to meeting lots of other people in the same or similar situations to me. I'm still adjusting to meds, and the changes i've had to make, and finding it a little difficult. We are but human! - Treatments
- Currently 1500mg Keppra, 250mg Lamictal, but changing again soon >.<
