- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed @ 13 months with what was then known as Grand Mal, now known as Tonic Clonic seizures. I didn't have any real problems with them until I went toxic at the beginning of my freshman year of college, and then things started to go awry.
At one point, when I didn't have a neurologist for 3 months, I had 13 t/c's in that 3 month period...1 every week. My best friend finally managed to find someone that was willing to take me on, and things have been sooo much better!!!
Over the course of the years tho, I've gone through quite a few different meds.....*SIGH* Even with the four meds, and great control, I'm now up to FOUR types of E. YIPPEE. - Treatments
- Right now, I'm on Carbatrol,Topamax, Clonazepam plus Lamictal. I'm also on the celiac diet.

- writing, esp. books and web articles, substitute teaching, special needs kids :-)
