Right now everything is at a standstill with the testing being inconcluesive. 50/50 chance that if they do this further testing slash surgery, the thought of no turning back if the testing shows that they can remove problem area with it having to be then and now weighs heavy on the mind on the other hand having a final answer is of some value could ease the mind if they can't do anything either. Having seizeres is getting old had one Sunday night small baby grand andd one last night Grand mal both at about two in the morning and both about 30-45 min after going back to bed. So I will be calling a NFB clinic down in the cities 60 miles from home not bad to see what they have to say, got start someplace. Its getting to the point that i am getting frazzled better stop

    Seizure Background
Have had them since age six Probable cause head trauma car accident I was the lucky one depends how you look at it. As many as 40 -60 per day when first diagnosed. Spent several days in the hospital getting levels and meds that got it under control, was not able to go back to school for the rest of the calender year 1966. Now at forty-seven I have had bouts off and on over the last forty years mostly when something in life changed work, relationships, weight, age, to name the basics. As far as the types of seizures that I have for the most part they are nocturnal in nature but as of late that has not always been the case ( not always meaning the last five years) gettin' old. Over the years I have taken a gauntlet of different Meds As a kid Phenobarbital, Mysoline. and Dilantin the basic ones for their time, they worked okay but were rough on the stomach. As time went by along come their little brothers and I guess that I had to give them a try, they seemed to be worse Depakane, depakote. As others came out that looked like they might be easier on the system I would give them a try. I had some Dr . feeling that I would be off the Meds some day, that is more than likely not going to happen. Along with the list of Meds one can add the following Lamictal, Zonagram Keppra and Lyrica and a few that escape my memory or maybe I have chosen to forget them who knows. Kidding.
