- Seizure Background
- I have my first seizure in 2010, they have gotten worse with time. No neurologist has been able to figure out what caused the seizures or where they are coming from. Certain drugs have kept the seizures at bay while others haven't done much. Currently im just in trial and error with meds.
A typical seizure for me seems to be simple partials/partials mainly, though they can generalize. My cognitive abilities are affected, speech, emotion, memory and spatial awareness. After large clusters of seizures things start to go back to normal. Overall things have been a rinse and repeat with the seizures and they occur pretty often. - Treatments
- Valium. oxycarbamazepine twice a day.
