- Seizure Background
- I was involved in a hit and run accident which resulted in severe head injury and surgery. I was diagnosed as "traumatic brain injury" (TBI). While not on medications at first I suffered a seizure after about 5-6 months after surgery (at work of course). I then went on one medication and experienced another seizure a short time later. Meds changed and I've only had random seizures up until this point (about 6 years). They seem to be getting more frequent lately. Currently I am on a generic version of Tegretol (carbamezapine). I am wondering what to expect in the future or if there will even be a future. I now have received the diagnosis of

- Carbamezapine 200mg 2X a day and Keppra 2500mg/day (1000 morning and 1500 at night)
