    Seizure Background
I was diagnosed with epilepsy when I was 4 years old, my seizures in every way replicated the tonic-clonic type with one acception being that I was always concious and felt every moment of the pain, still have very clear memories. These seizures always occured in the night, with some strange episodes during the day. For the first 5 months I took no medication but the seizures just got more and more frequent so in the end I had to. I was put on 4/5 different types of medications from the age of 5 till I was 10, these caused severe weight gain, hallucinations, insomnia, depression, etc.
Secretly stopped taking medication at the age of 10, never had a full blown seizure since but have still experienced strange episodes, now 17 years old and starting to have problems again. The doctors believed for many years that I had grown out of it despite initially being told that due to the location in my brain it was extremely unlikely I would ever grow out of it.
    Treatments
Refuse to take medication that stuff screwed me up enough when I was younger.
    Location
    England
