- Seizure Background
- Our daughter was diagnosed with infantile spasms. Leading to her having seizures, myoclonic jerks, 12 EEG's, 40 steroid shots (most of wich we had to give her at home), a MRI, and many weeks in the UW Childrens Hospitol. 3 ambulance rides, two to the hospitol in Janesville, and another from there to the UW. She had the greatest team of neurologists there. She is now currently on Keppra to control any seizure activity that may occur. Olivia is at risk of developing a seizure disorder for the rest of her life, including epilepsy.
