Hi Paradise Survivor
I just read that you are in love with your hubby and I thought I was the only one that was in love with their partner, Mark and I aren't married, but we have been together nearly ten years, and I can honestly say that I love him more every single day!! It helps that as I have epilepsy, he is a paramedic and a fire fighter, quite useful to have him as a neighbour too!
Have you always lived there? It sure sounds totally beautiful, do you celebrate Xmas? I had fantastic Xmas times when I was a kid, but I just can't be bothered with it this year, we have no Xmas tree, no decorations, I haven't even put the Xmas cards up anywhere. I think because it's a year since losing my darling mum, and I'm not working at the moment, and I'm pretty skint, so I can't afford to buy lots of presents and stuff!
Good news though, no seizures for ages now! and it will be six months on Xmas Day since my last lot of surgery, it seems to be going well, taking Trileptal has really helped with my auras, and I really don't have them anymore, thank God! They were the worst part of having epilepsy, and so scary!
I'd love to know more about your seizure types, and how does society perceive epilepsy in Hawai? Would be great to hear from you. I hope you ar well, and that I hear from you soon, I am going away to my Dad's tomorrow, so will be in touch again soon. Take care, and Merry Xmas!!
Best Wishes
