- Seizure Background
- I had my first seizure April of 2004, but wasn't technically diagnosed with epilepsy until March 2006. I had four seizures in between April 2004 and March 2005... two the first time, one in October (where I crashed my car into the front of my house), and then after going a year and a half seizure free, I had the fourth in the VERY crowded cafeteria at my university (where I broke my collar bone.) I had one October of 2006, then made it almost a year where I've had two in the past month. All of my seizures are grand mals, and this past one I ended up crashing into a book cart at my job at a library face first and ended up with a messed up arm, stitches in my face, a black eye, and a swollen tongue. Not fun. I'm finding myself back at square one with the emotional messed upness, so here I am at this lovely forum.
