    Hi Ran

Things are a little different, on a few or have been ona few different medds, currently on Vimpat( adjusting) , Lamictil, and Epivil, have been taken off Lyrica. Vimpat not the best me as a lot of non desireable side effects. Have also had some bad seizures at home and work.

    Hi Hun

Good to hear from you, hope all is good with you? I'm seizure free at last!! I just wish that I could say the rest of my life was good, I have never felt so low in my entire life as I do at the moment. I cannot get a job anywhere, and I'm just about at my wits end trying, the recession in this country is getting worse, and there are no jobs. I am sick of having no money, no challenges, no social life, and just existing instead of living, I'm spending most days in tears at the moment, and most of the time on my own. Sorry to sound so miserable, but I'm the world's worst liar!

Anyway, I hope you are well, and that you had a better Summer over there than we had here?

    Cheers
    Lainey

Well, my goodness, your summer has been hell hasn't it? Thanks for asking about me, I am doing better. My pain management doctor has gotten my pain under control. and I got a lumbar epidural last week so I feel better than I have in years. Didn't know how much my back was a major pain culprit until I got the shot. I can actually walk up stairs now, still need assistance but nothing like before.
Old man is getting worse, but we expect that, it's just not easy watching and living with someone declining with dementia.
My nephew found an apartment so our living-room is back to normal. YEAH! One less stressor and the girls are back in school! Oh praise Jeebus!
    Take care.

Hi RanMan: Hope you are well. Sorry I have been out of touch. Yes, I have side affects from Dilantin. 30 years on the stuff, I have trouble with depression, mostly situational. don't know if that is the medication, or my brain, probably both! I have had T/C's in the past, although not for over 7 years now. I have weird headaches now, so I wonder if something has changed. Am going to a new neurologist soon. I read your latest post. I feel for you, the mood swings are problematic for sure. Write soon, and take care.

    Hi There
I just typed out a really long rattling reply to you and was told it was too long, and to cut it by 727 characters, went to shrink it down a bit and it had vanished!! I have to go out in a bit, so I'll write later, I just wanted to say hello and I haven't forgotten you. I had a very nasty wobbler this morning, so I'm still feeling a bit strange, I'll drop you a line later, it's my birthday today, and I'm trying to forget I'm 47???!!! No, not really, sod it, I'm happy enough!! Catch you again soon, I hope you are ok mate?

    lol

    Hi Lainey,
What's new with you on the job front or volunteer front?
I know that I told you on FB that I was doing great but the reality is:

Although my "seizure activity" (notice I didn't say epilepsy) has been 95% controlled since 1979, for the last 2 weeks I've been having this really strange aura.
Every evening starting at 7:00pm all I can smell is stale cigerettes and nobody smokes in the house. It has really been bothering me, and also giving me headaches.

As well, for about the past year I constantly have "neoropathy" (tingliing and numbness in my fingers and toes).
My neurologist says this is from long term use of the meds (Duh ~ do ya think?) and cannot be reversed.
I also have terrible mood swings (I'm having one now) and very poor balance, co-ordination and gait, slurred speach, ED (lots of fun there)

Other than that, I'm fine. LMFAO

    Randy
