    Seizure Background
I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 13, shortly after my first seizure. I was put on Tegretol, and after finding out that it made my seizures worse, I got a new neuro and was told more specifically that I had Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (which is apparently aggravated by that med). Ever since I've been controlled with the use of Depakote, but unfortunately have to deal with memory loss as a side effect. At worst, I've lost whole days (including my high school graduation), at best, feeling foggy at work. I've learned to live with it; what's imortant is keeping the here and now pleasant and in order. I am happy to say that I've held my current job for more than two years with little trouble from epileptic activity :)
    Treatments
Depakote: 500mg in the morning and at night, 250mg at noon.
    Location
    Near Baltimore/Washington
