    Seizure Background
    idiopathic seizure activity (gran mal) since head trauma in 1983. Been taking Dilantin since then and have recently had dosage increased from 300 to 500mgs. I still have seizures while sleeping at night and recent dexa scan shows osteoporosis (taking fossamax as well).A shrinking cerebellum only adds to my list of mental hurdles Acute memory losses and have had episodes during the day without auras. Can't figure the triggers yet.Soon starting Lamotrigene therapy.Anyone heard of a 'starter pack'?
    Treatments
    Dilantin 550mgs ,calcium chews, fossamax (for OP ), and 5mg valium (for insomnia ). Gonna change to Lamotrigine soon.
