- Seizure Background
- My seizure history started at 6 years old. I am now 66. I started with petit mals and Dilantin. I am allergic to Dilantin and almost died from my allergic reaction. When I was a Junior in High School, I stood up to answer a question and I blacked out. I was never told what happened. When I was 20 years old, I had my first tonic-clonic seizures, 3 in a row. When the year 1979 happened, I had my first STATUTS EPILEPTICUS. I also went in a coma. In 1985, I had my second STATUS EPILEPTICUS. I am still alive.
