You are right, especially after 2004 when they switched to the rubber mount engines. I was almost tempted to get mine out to our party this weekend, but it was a good thing I didn't as I ended up having a seizure mid afternoon saturday. Probably a lack of sleep thing though, went out friday, was up all night except for an hour and pretty much the same all weekend, temperatures hit about 45 for lows, kind of cold in a tent.

Sorry to hear you're off your bike. I went to Sturgis again this year, 3000 miles in 10 days, I hate it when I'm off my bike (that three month wait after seizure, luckily only had to go through that twice). The newer Sportsters are nice, my husband had an 86 and that thing would vibrate so badly after 20 minutes there was no feeling anywhere (before I started riding my own). Good luck and hope you're back in the saddle soon.

I have a 2006 sportster, bought it new when I sold my 75 ironhead, much nicer ride. haven't been able to ride it for 2 years though

Also on the card, it has several number on the back. it has the serial number that the FDA has you registered under, the number the neuropace has you in, your neurologist's medical practice licensing #, and the phone # they have to call to talk about you when it comes to dealing with you on things like the metal detector, or anything else with the air port, police dept., other doctors, etc.
