- Seizure Background
- My 41 year old son has had epilepsy since birth (due to a hypothalamic hammartoma which is inoperable). He had 2 resections(Montreal Neuro, 1986 & NYU, 2003) and has been on nearly every medication. He currently takes Zonegran, Lamictal and Vimpat at well as Prozac and Abilify. There has been considerable shrinkage of the cerebellum, and his overall IQ has been extremely diminished. He is currently being seen at the Epilepsy Clinic at the Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. I am looking for a good NEUROPSYCHIATRIST and any other support system anyone can recommend. Thank you.
