- Seizure Background
- I had seizure activity (auras, seizure shaking, etc.) as a child but when I turned 18, I fell down a set of stairs on my head. I came out of it and had a seizure. I've been on medication (Dilantin) since then. They tried changing it a few times, but the Dilantin is the only thing that controlled my seizures. I don't have a seizure (grand mal) unless I don't take my medicine. Would love to get off of the Dilantin but don't know how. Try to watch my diet as that helps with the aura and shakes feelings.

- I take 3 1/3 100 mg capsules of Dilantin. I watch my diet, take calcium.
