- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 13 and experienced uncontrolled absence seizures during adolescence. Over time the milder seizures became Grand Mal. My seizures stopped in my early 20s when I started taking a different medication (Dilantin). I was seizure-free for over 20 years until I had a Grand Mal on June 17, 2010.
