- Seizure Background
- I have had seizures for 31 years. First controlled by dilantin only, without incident. After a car accident in 1991 I have had intractable seizures. A drug study and surgery in 1991 at the NIH to remove 2/3 of the right side of my brain helped for a while. I am now 49 years old. Either too much medication or complications from my surgery have caused too many seizures daily. I can not find an epileptologist locally, and several neurologists have hit a brick wall in my care. Where do I go from here? Please respond.
