- Seizure Background
- I had my first seizure 35 years ago. I've been swallowing 300 Mg of Dilantin on and off since.
(When I take my meds), that seems to work. I don't have known side effects related to that medication. However, I do have complications which sound similar to those I read on your posts; my feet and calves feel as though I am lugging bowling balls with each step, my eyes are sensitive to light and motion, my balance is impaired which causes me to use a cane, my hands tingle when I wake, I fall when I'm walking if not paying close attention. To add to the mix I have multiple sclerosis which also looks like the above. Sigh. I recently started compiling a spoken book filled with words of people with Epilepsy. I'm so glad I reached out and found you. Together we can tell our stories. - Treatments
