    Seizure Background
    I have had epilepsy for thirty years. It has been controlled, except just recently, out of the blue I had a grand mal seizure. My doctor doubled my medication to 800 mg of Tegretol a day. I thought that would take care of it, then last week I had another GMS. I don't have a doctors appt yet, so I don't know what the next step is. He has given me Lorazepam to take if I feel it coming on.
