- Seizure Background
- I began having seizures in my late teens. I did not know what they were because the seizures were partial. In my early 20's I had a tonic clonic seizure. I woke up in the ER not knowing how I got there or why I was there. Since 1997 I've had countless petit mal seizures and a total of 5 grande mal seizures, each followed by amnesia. I've had mixed experience with drugs. As I get older I realize that my seizure disorder isn't going to go away, yet I don't want to be medicated for the rest of my life. It is my goal to acheive & maintain seizure control without drugs. I'm looking for help for a long term solution not a pharmaceutical cover-up.
