- i've had epilepsy since i was an infant, tried all kinds of meds, but couldnt get much progress , had a vns put in back when i was 17 , it helped for a bit but also seems to be a dead issue. i m on depkote and lamictal as of now, 100mg lamictal and1000mg depakote in the morning, and 100mg lamictal and 1500mg depakote at night. i've been on tegretol for 20 years taking 800mg in morning and evening. they took me off it in 48hours. had some crazy withdrawl symptoms but they seem to be getting more mild.
