- Seizure Background
- I had my first seziure out of no where in 2003. I was put into a medical induced coma and stayed in the hospital for about 2 1/2 weeks before I was released. The neuro isn't for sure what caused the seizures but they think that some type of virus got into my spinal fluid and went into my brian.
I have a VNS implant that has helped to control my sezs but I am still taking alot of meds. I have on average 1 or 2 sez a month that are bad, I really only have focal sez, but I will have mini ones where the room will look wierd or I can't concentrate on things and usually once a year I will have a grand mal. - Treatments
