- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed with epilepsy after several grand mal seizures when I was 13. I've been living with this for almost 30 years. Due to outbreaks in the past, I have been on different seizure control medications since then (cannot remember exactly how many med I've tried at least 5 different types including --Dilantin, Depakote, Tegretol, Carbamezapine & Lamictol in the past)
- Treatments
- Keppra 500mg twice a day & Carbatrol 300 mg in the AM & 400mg in the PM --- to control seizures, I try to get adequate rest / sleep
