- Seizure Background
- I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy when I was 16 after having a seizure at the wheel of my truck, driving off the road, and crashing my truck. Since then I have taken Keppra, but because of the increased depression and quick temper I switched to a new doctor who prescribed me Lamictal which has worked out great. Now I am 17 and will be going to college next year. Of course, I am disappointed and often depressed about not being able to party heavily in college, but it is what it is. Coping with JME sucks and it is definitely the hardest thing I have ever had to do.
