Coping With Epilesy, (CWE) may publish banner ads to third party web sites in the headers of this web site. There are three types of banners that might be published - Free Advertisements, Neurofeedback Partners and Sponsored Advertising. All banners that are published will contain a note (linked to this page) underneath them indicating which type they are.
Free Advertising
Banners marked as free advertisements are linked to web sites that CWE has chosen to link to without any compensation or consideration from the third party who owns the advertised site.
Non-profit groups (or web sites) may inquire about having a free banner on the CWE site using the feedback form. CWE reserves the right to accept or reject free advertisement requests at their sole discretion (for any reason).
Neurofeedback Partners
Banners marked as neurofeedback partners are linked to web sites for EEG neurofeedback practitioners that have agreed to offer CWE members (not unregistered guests) 10% off the normal cost of EEG neurofeedback training. CWE admins reserve the right to determine eligibility of members for the discount program according to membership factors including age of account, number of posts and quality of posts (ie. don't register on the forums and post a bunch of one liners just to get a quick discount - be a part of the community).
CWE has arranged these deals in conjunction with participating neurofeedback practitioners in order to promote awareness and access to EEG neurofeedback for the epilepsy community. CWE receives no compensation from participating neurofeedback partners.
Neurofeedback practitioners who have experience assisting patients with epilepsy may inquire about having a free banner on the CWE site in exchange for giving CWE members a 10% discount using the feedback form.
Sponsored Advertising
Banners marked as sponsored advertising are paid ads. CWE receives compensation for these ads. Ad revenue for these ads is applied to offset marketing, hosting and maintenance costs and ensure the site's continuing existence.
For profit groups (or web sites) may inquire about current pricing, site traffic, and advertising options on the CWE site using the feedback form. CWE reserves the right to accept or reject any advertisers at their sole discretion (for any reason).
CWE may also display banner and/or contextual ads from Google to visitors (they are not shown to logged in members of the site). Google identifies their ads with a clickable link or icon. Google is solely responsible for the content of these ad blocks.
CWE banner ads are published run of site and shown to both guest visitors and logged in members. Ads from Google are shown to guest visitors (only). CWE banner ads are the best way to ensure 100% visibility of your ads to the CWE community.
