  • American Epilepsy Society - Industry organization for health care professionals and researchers in the epilepsy field. Does not cater to patients.
  • Epilepsy Action - UK epilepsy organization offering an email "help line".
  • Epilepsy Foundation - American charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of people with epilepsy. Has driver license law database by state and other good information.
  • Epilepsy.com - Information repository sponsored by The Epilepsy Project. There is lots of information here about seizures and treatments.
  • National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) - UK organization with a lot of epilepsy information.

Neurofeedback Resources

  • EEG Neurofeedback - One of our forum threads where we list a bunch of research that has been published about neurofeedback.
  • Neurofeedback on the Brain - Dr. Karen Shue's blog about neurofeedback and brain functioning.

  • Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy (CURE) - A non-profit organization whose mission is raising funds for research and increasing awareness of epilepsy.
  • The Epilepsy Therapy Development Project - A non-profit organization whose mission is to advance new treatments for people living with epilepsy.
  • For A Better Life with Epilepsy (FABLE) - A UK non-profit organization whose mission is raising public awareness of Epilepsy through education and publicity.

  • PubMed - PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources. You can research medical studies here.
