I don't know how y'all are in the UK, Nick, but here in the States we have the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) that protects people from unfair employment practices on the basis of disability. If I'm correct about the law, if a person can prove they are receiving therapy (such as meds) for a condition, that person can't be discriminated against regarding employment and the employer has to make reasonable accomodations for that person. I did let my Pre-K director, who is under the principal, know about the seizure because right now I am riding with a fellow Pre-K teacher who lives in a neighboring county.
