Hello,

Has anyone had much luck with Zonegran for partial seizures? Also, anyone ever try acupuncture to manage them? Just curious as I am still exploring treatment options.

I think this has become my new facebook account . . . so much to learn!

Peace,

I tried acupuncture for my injuries and I loved it. Don't think it did anything for the seizures.

I tried Zonegran for tonic-clonics, but it made things worse because of the way it affected my blood sugar. Everyone responds differently though, it may work for you.

I think acupuncture can be tricky for epilepsy because it tends to have stimulating effect. These threads might be helpful: http://www.coping-with-epilepsy.com/forums/f22/acupuncture-1790/

Thanks, Nakamova and Julie Wishes, for the info. I see my ob/gyn today, and I have a neuro appt in a few weeks. I think I am going to ask them to work together. The webbing between my fingers is now brown, and I'm thinking this is all hormone driven. The more I see the side effects of the meds, the less I want to take them. Praying for God to heal my body!!!
