This story is off topic but I thought it was interesting enough to post.

Last week one of our local pharmacies was raided by the police and RCMP and temporarily shut down because it was discovered that they were dispensing counterfiet heart medication, used to control heart rhythem, high blood pressure and angina.

I don't know if this story has hit the states yet but this is a first for Ontario.

The Coroner is also investigating because so far 5 ppl have died from it. and there could be more.

It was first discovered when a patient went to the pharmacy to get a perscription refilled and the pills didn't look the same. The customer immediately called the police and now there is a HUGE investigation going on.

So far charges are pending but the owner of the store has to give up his business. The pharmacy has been closed pending the investigation.
