I'd be in a band. But alas, I can't play anything other than flute (and I'm a bit out of practice), and I can't sing (although that doesn't stop me from doing karaoke :pfft: ). I also can't do death metal vocals. Sooo... I'm trapped in manufacturing hell for the time-being LOL. I so, so, so wish I could do death growls like the female vocalists from The Agonist, Arch Enemy, and Crisis. That'd be so awesome  I'd probably hurt myself if I tried though :roflmao:

ARTIST. That is all I do and I have drempt of being able to have all the equipment I need to do exactly what I want and have hired workers to help (I tend to work big, real big) Some sculpture I want to work on now requires a crane. Big$$ there.

Massage therapist

I would love to become a massage therapist. Not a "fluff and buffer" but a therapist that makes it hurt but the next day you can move your neck again. I earned a Bachelor if science in nursing, but was unable to pass my board exams. At that time my seizures were not very often.
I worked as a nurse aid for about 10 years. I had an aura during my break (2 days after my ex told me he was having an affair and leaving me) and was put on medical leave (instead of them firing me).
I know God has given me a huge caring heart, but couldn't figure out what to do with that. Since then, I have realized that those jobs were WAY TOO stressful. I have realized that God has blessed me with a talent through massage.
Problem: gotta go back to school. $$$$

I think I would like to be some sort of nurse or doctor if I was more of a people person and if I was better at science.

I went to India a couple of years ago and worked in a hospice. They just took volunteers so I didn't need any qualifications but I really enjoyed it.

I also wanted nursing as a career path and became a CNA and took pre-reqs for nursing school but did not get in and decided that i love helping people but the medical industry is not a good fit for me here. And art is my passion.
Hospice is really cool though and something i could pursue. Nick88, that is honorable.
Kyrissa, that is a heart breaking story, after all that work. Who knows what the future holds?

I wanted to teach but teaching threw small rocks at me until I ran away.

Then I got the BEST job in the world YOUTH WORKER. Informal education rocks and I get to do cool stuff like go to theme parks and the theatre and get PAID to do it. Also do mundane stuff like write CV's and help kids find housing but even that gives you WARM FUZZY GLOW!

Also got to do some teaching when I worked in a unit for kids permanantly excluded frI'm education.

So if I won the lottery tommorow I would still do my job - just the fun bits natch I would give up all the paperwork side!

No one attempting to poach my job ok? I am a black belt in orgami.

That sounds like a great job QueenieKP! If you don't mind could I work with you? :p

Ok we always need more groovy youth workers but the commute is gonna be a real bint!

Into; Dimplomativ immunity would be cool plus the bag!

Chelsea; AEN teaching is a very inspiring vocation.

Queenie, I'm studying for my Florida Teaching Certificate, but it has been a slow go due to concentration and short-term memory challenges. I'm up for the challenge though! I've done it before, I can do it again--I keep telling myself.

My 'boy' is doing his BA in Primary Education and would like to specialise in AEN I fear I might explode with pride!

Good luck with your own studies sometimes it feels we have to work 2x, 5x, 10x harder but the rewards are greater too.

Saw an awesome MA in Youth Work and Anthropology (which probably doesn't actually entail hiding behind teenagers at bus stations) and now I have had to go part time I actually might have the time for a Masters but I really need to get my darn meds settled a bit more.

Another thing that I'd like to be is a stand up comedian. I don't know if I'd be funny enough or have the guts to get up in front of a room full of people who would just be laughing at me the whole time - lol :roflmao:

I want to be a marine biologist and I wanna specialize in sharks. Idk I'm just fascinated with sharks. My favorite week is.. yup shark week. Lol

All my life I've wanted to be a fighter pilot. Would love to fly the CF-18's here in Canada. I go to sign up and get told I can't even sit behind a desk for them :( I would like to be an archaeologist too. Study ancient egypt.

Chelsea, I need to figure out a way to get myself back into this area you mention, even though I was let go from the last place I worked. Keep yourself "STRONG" and after reading your post, I am ready to try geting up for a challenge. You gave me a good push here!

Being a full time husband is good enough for me! Oh but I'm so much more than that! :hugs:
