My scans show Lewis spots in brain can ie do this and visa versa

Lewy Body Disease isn't that well understood yet, so it's not clear whether it has any connection with epilepsy. Right now, it's mostly associated with Parkinson's and some forms of dementia.

But many of the symptoms of Lewy Body Disease (LBD) can be mistaken for epilepsy symptoms: Confusion that comes and goes, vivid visual hallucinations, rigid arms or legs, recurrent falls or fainting. In one LBD symptom the patient is conscious but doesn't speak or respond for several minutes -- very similar to a complex partial.

So definitely ask your doc whether the Lewy Bodies may be causing epilepsy-like symptoms, and vice versa.

Well, from what I can tell you aren't suffering from dementia.:)

It would be nice though if you could talk to a specialist about what the scans show, just to get some sort of reassurance. I'm sorry it's so hard to get access to a skilled neuro where you are.
