I'm not quite sure what you mean. Perhaps when you start putting the site address into the address bar, it's auto-completing to direct you to a specific page? For example when i come onto the site it comes up with a list of the latest posts, but if i type it slightly differently it will enter the site on the forums page, with a complete list of the different sections or "rooms".
Have a look and see what comes up on the address bar as you're typing next time to see what it says.
