Hi --

I have (mostly) nocturnal complex-partial seizures, and over the years have often noticed a half-day or so of dyspnea (shortness of breath) on the day(s) after seizure activity. Lately, I've been on a trial medicine that has reduced the seizures radically, but I've noticed days and days of dyspnea with little relief. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem?

My doctors sent me to the hospital to be tested for pulmonary embolism, but I was given a clean bill of health with regard to that.

I know about the connection between VNS and dyspnea, but I'm not on VNS.

Thanks -
Liz
