Garnerville Girl Scouts perform puppet shows to explain disabilities

This fall, the Epilepsy Society of Southern New York is presenting a series of shows using puppets to spread awareness about epilepsy.

The society has paired up with Girl Scout Cadet Troop 465 of Garnerville to produce the presentations.

:) This is a great way to spread the word. I see too many people that mock what they don't understand. If this was done when I was going to school, it would've helped a lot. Hopefully they expand this to include many different types of seizures. Not all epilepsy patients have grand-mal seizures every time.
