Hello-

Has anyone experienced watery eyes as a AED side effect?

My DD, 13 began having watery eyes and some eye pain the day she started her new increase of Trileptal.

Just wondering if this is common?

Hi Blondie,

Perhaps the water eyes/pain are an allergic reaction?

Make sure the dr. knows.

I have

to agree with Cindy. If you check out rxlist.com, under Trileptal's side effects, you'll see that abnornal vision is one of them....so I would assume that would cover the watery eyes? You might want to ask your neuro though, just to be on the safe side....

Good luck!!!
