So I have Gelastic Seizures (a weird and very rare type of seizure) and have had it for the last year and a half. About 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and had my thyroid nuked with radioactive Iodine. I was put on thyroid meds to get my levels back to normal. I've had to up the levels of the thyroid meds over time and was wondering if anyone else had similar conditions and if they suspect any correlation between thyroid and their epilepsy.
