I recently got a home phone # and I forgot to get it as unlisted. So I've been getting collection call for ambulance rides a over night hospital stays I had about 6 yaers ago. Does anybody know if there if there is a statue of limitations on these incidences. The first social worker I saw out in Vegas told me the doctors could write it off on there taxes and not to worry about it. There is no way I'm gonna pay for a ride that took me to a psych ward accusing me of being high on drugs nor giving proper treatment when I didn't know what my body was doing to me. So does anybody have any suggestions about what I should do?

I have no clue Justin. Perhaps someone else here has info on this or a legal forum might be able to answer it.

You would probably be best served talking to a CPA or a lawyer. However, I did find this:
Minnesota Statutes of Limitation

Breach of contract for sale under the UCC: 4 years, (MSA 336.2.).

NOTE: Except where the Uniform Commercial Code otherwise prescribes, actions based on a contract or other obligation, express or implied, must be brought within 6 years after the cause of action occurred (Chapter 541).

Tolling: New written acknowledgement or payment tolls the statute of limitations for the debt.

Judgments: 10 years.
