Could these be occipital partial/focal seizures?

My wife had Tonic Clonic seizures every few months as a baby through to age 5-ish.

Then she had petit mal / absence seizures from age 6 to 12.

Then about 10 years ago when she was age 28, a few months after our last child was born, she had another Tonic Clonic, which I witnessed. It lasted about 60 seconds. The doctor said it was "hormone induced" most likely.

Then about 4 years ago she had another Tonic Clonic which I also witnessed. Lasted about 60 seconds.

Then about 4 weeks ago she was talking to me and her eyes "froze" as we were speaking, for about 1-2 seconds. She says she was aware of everything but couldn't move her eyes and that there was a black vertical line that she saw. She then about half an hour later kind of just crept into bed and slept soundly, with snoring (very unlike her to snore) at 6pm for an hour (very unlike her to sleep during the day). Also for about an hour after she said that one of her legs seemed much longer than the other leg and it affected her walking (this symptom has not returned, just a one time thing so far).

For the past 4 weeks she has experienced:
- pains in the back of her head (5% of the time)
- pains in the temple area of her left eye (90% of the time)
- pains to the temple area of her right eye (5% of the time)
- having her vision go foggy with white, almost like looking through white egg yolk, lasts a few minutes
- having her vision go out of focus, like if you were trying to read the last few lines of letters at an Eye Doctor during an Eye exam
- seeing other black lines 'appear' for a second
- and today, as she was walking in the store, she saw what she thought was a "line kind of barricade" like if you were in a bank line or airport line. She stopped suddenly to avoid walking into it. Everyone was looking at her like she was kind of weird, because there was nothing there at all.

From what I read, I cannot for sure say if this is partial/focal occipital lobe seizures, but I don't now for sure. She is not able to see a specialist for about 2 months time so I thought I'd put this out to the Universe to see if anyone has any idea as to what could possibly be going on for my wife.

Thank you.

They sound like simple partial seizures, which can take the form of vision disturbances and hallucinations. I think iI's worth bugging the neurologist to try and move up her appointment, especially since these symptoms are different from ones she's had in the past. If they are escalating, that would also be reason to push for an appointment sooner rather than later, possibly even a visit to the ER. Has she ever had an MRI/MRA done? Are there any known structural/vascular issues that could be contributing?

You mention a possible hormonal trigger for her prior t-cs? You might want to track her current symptoms over the next month to see if they increase in conjunction with hormonal surges (there are at least 3 phases during the month when those surges might occur).
