Saw my optician today most depressing but that different reason to filters.HE told me not using filters on computer worse thing you can do and if got e even more so.Because I got tints in specs I not thought about it but he said tint specs and screen filters different and someone with e has it even worse..Certain lights do trigger e like theatre or cinema,I unable to go to many shows etc.Do everyone use screen filters.I getting one done for my iPad next week
 
Computer monitors are very different than they were several years back. Maybe you remember your old TV as an example. There is no need for a filter or screen protector. Most typical EEGs will let you know if you have photosensitive E. If it's not a problem, don't fix it.
