Has anyone switched from Tegretol XR back to regular Tegretol?

The insurance company charges $85 for the XR instead of $40 for the regular. Same dose for both.
 
i was switched for from xr to reg for dosage reasons

i was given 100mg xr 3 a day. to 200mg reg 2 a day.
with cocktail of a few other things. neither did much alone.

and the xr was causing liver issues with my the bike racing.
